Good Morning, Students!
Compound interest is calculated on the initial principal and also includes all the accumulated interest from previous periods on a deposit or loan. This means that interest is earned on both the original amount and any interest that has already been added, leading to exponential growth over time. As a result, compound interest can significantly increase the value of an investment or the cost of a loan, depending on the interest rate and the frequency of compounding.
Start investing early to take full advantage of compound interest, allowing your money to grow exponentially over time.
