Business and Finance News - 11.11.24
Good Morning, Students!
Question of the day: Should I bootstrap my business and grow it gradually with my own resources, or should I seek external investors to accelerate growth and access additional capital?
I’m noticing that many of the answers I give, especially to more personal questions, might not directly address the question at hand. That’s because there’s no single ‘right’ answer to questions that are deeply individual or situational.
Deciding whether to grow your business independently or seek outside investors depends entirely on your unique circumstances. Do you have the financial resources and time to grow your business gradually? Do you have the skills to scale it without outside help? Do you have relationships that could facilitate funding? Are you prepared to give up some control if you bring in investors? These are just a few of the questions to consider, and each one points to factors only you can assess.
In short, it all depends on a range of factors, and without a deeper understanding of you and your business, I wouldn’t even think to offer an answer on this matter. I would not even think to give you my opinion on this matter.
